# Hide a Slideshow on Mobile

If you don't want to show a slideshow on mobile, desktop, or other screen sizes, you can do this with CSS and MetaSlider. This approach will vary depending on how your WordPress site is built. [Here is an example of CSS](https://www.w3docs.com/snippets/css/how-to-hide-elements-in-a-responsive-layout.html) to show content on different devices. In this example, you could use the sample code with a MetaSlider shortcode, as in this example.

[Update the CSS on your website using one of these recommended methods](https://www.metaslider.com/docs/how-do-i-add-custom-css-to-my-theme/).
