Before you update
This version requires MetaSlider Slideshow 3.113.0 or newer. Local Video slides and the Pixabay video search connected to them now come from the main MetaSlider Slideshow plugin, so update the free plugin first if your site is not already on a compatible version.
Other changes and fixes
- Preview reliability: The admin slideshow preview now works when a slide is set to “Show only in the first loop.”
- Beta and release candidate compatibility: Pro no longer refuses to load against a beta or RC build that satisfies its required MetaSlider Slideshow version.
- Layer source editing: The “Edit Source” view no longer shows already-escaped HTML as plain text.
- Theme editor cleanup: Creating the first custom theme no longer triggers a PHP notice when the themes option has not been saved before.
- YouTube slide warnings: Videos that cannot be embedded on external websites are handled without exposing PHP warnings.
- Translations: Translation files have been refreshed for a more polished localized experience.
- Security maintenance: This release includes security-related dependency updates as part of its maintenance work.
