Our goal here at MetaSlider has always been to build the most user-friendly slideshow plugin in WordPress.
This week’s release of MetaSlider is a huge step towards that goal.
We built a new demo site full of slideshows, and you can now import any of them with just one click!

The New Demo Site
The MetaSlider demo site is a true showcase for what’s possible with this plugin. You’ll find examples of every theme, slide type (images, videos, posts etc), and integration (WooCommerce, The Events Calendar etc).
You can use the filters on the left to search through dozens of slideshows. So, if you’re looking for a specific type of slideshow, you can easily find it. Do you want a full-screen slideshow? If you need a carousel, we’ve multiple examples. If you’re curious about thumbnail navigation, there are demos for both images and videos.
How to Use These Demos on Your Site
We’re pleased to say you can get instant access to all of these demos! Inside your WordPres site, go to the “Quick Start” screen in MetaSlider. You’ll now see all the demo slideshows ready to import. You can use the same filters as on the demo site.
When you are ready to import a demo slideshow, all you have to do is hover over the slideshow you want to import and click the blue “Yes, please!” button.
You’ll get a complete import of that demo with all the media and settings. This slideshow is ready to publish immediately.
What’s Next for MetaSlider?
The simple answer is “more demos”. Let us know what you’d like us to build. We’re happy to add more examples to the demo site and provide them to you as one-click imports.
We’re also back to work on the MetaSlider Lightbox plugin. This is going to have photo gallery features to go alongside the main MetaSlider slideshow plugin. We released tons of new features for that plugin in January, including a new MetaSlider Lightbox Pro that’s available now.
