Smush is a leading image optimization plugin. It can optimize, resize, and compress images, as well as convert images to WebP format for faster loading web pages.
One issue we’ve seen reported between MetaSlider and the Smush plugin is with the “Lazy Load” feature. Smush describes it this ways: “This feature stops offscreen images from loading until a visitor scrolls to them.” The impact on MetaSlider is that it can cause images to appear briefly out of place before snapping into the correct place.
If you see this happening on your site, try changing the settings in Smush’s Lazy Load feature so skip the MetaSlider images.
